INTRO TO DANCE!!!
We have added 2 Intro to Dance classes for the 2026 Spring Quarter! The students will be introduced to Ballet, Jazz, and Hiphop. Tuesday 3:45-4:25 pm. Ages 5-8. Tuesday class begins on 3/3/26 and the final class will be on 6/2/26. If you join this class and start on 3/3/26 you will get 13 classes for the price of 12! Saturday 11:00-11:40 am. Ages 6-10. Saturday class begins on 3/7/26 and the final class will be on 5/30/26. Cost: $25 Registration Fee* plus 1 Quarterly Tuition payment. You can register on the website or in person. *If your family is currently enrolled for the 2025-26 dance year, no additional Registration Fee will be required.
Enrollment for Creative Minds Bright Minds Preschool for the 2026-27 school year is now OPEN! Enroll early to ensure you get a spot for the new school year! Please note in addition to the above list of required paperwork, there are non-refundable Registration/Supply Fees that needs to be paid upon registration to hold your child’s spot in the class. Registration remains OPEN for the 2025-26 dance year!! We will be taking new students in our performance classes through 2/7/26. The performances will be held June 6-8, 2026. We will take new students in our non-performance classes through 5/1/26. The last day of class for 2025-26 is 6/8/26. Registration for Creative Minds Bright Minds 3 and 4 year old Preschool is still OPEN for the 2025-26 school year!! We have openings in both the 3 and 4 year old classes. Please call or stop by the front desk for more information or to register.

Registration Agreement 2025-26
Preschool Registration 2026-27
Classes start on September 3, 2025 and end on June 8, 2026. Enrollment is for the entire year. Please refer to the withdrawal policy in the registration packet if you plan to leave class before June 8, 2026. Non-performing classes take new students year round. The Director reserves the right to change teaching staff when necessary. If there are less than 5 dancers in a class, the director reserves the right to shorten or cancel the class.

The studio will be closed if District 81 cancels due to snow or in the event of an unforeseen natural disaster. If this occurs, there are no refunds or make-ups. The Director reserves the right to overrule any District 81 natural disaster closure. Please note: We are open some of District 81 holidays.
Tuition can be paid annually, quarterly, or monthly. There is a $25.00 non-refundable registration fee per family. Register and make your first tuition payment before June 27, 2025 and get the registration fee waived. Tuition is described in the registration packet. Please pick up a registration packet at the office, or click on the form below!
Military Discount: Registration fee waived with military ID. (Must be Active Military and a parent of enrolled student.)

General Information
Open House: September 2, 2025. 5:30-7:30 pm. Please watch for updates or changes to the Open House. If you are a new customer or are considering joining our studio and would like a private “tour” of our facilities, please contact the office to schedule an appointment.
Age Eligibility: You must be the required age on or before August 31st to participate in the class level.
Observations: You are welcome to stay and watch your dancer. Please do not leave a sibling or friend in the waiting room while the other sibling/friend dances unless you plan to stay as well.
Classroom limits: Classroom limit is 12 for 3-5 year old dancers and 15 for dancers ages 6 and above. Advanced and Hiphop can have up to 20 dancers.
Boys in ballet! Any families registered at the Dance Center of Spokane are invited to put their sons in ballet on scholarship. If 75% attendance is not maintained, you will be charged for the ballet class(es).
Instructor Changes: Due to the fact we have some teachers attending college full-time and some that perform professionally, teachers for all classes are subject to change each quarter. All of our teachers are highly trained and qualified, and are able to take over any classes if necessary.
Recital Policy
**Recital is mandatory for all performing classes.**
A non-refundable recital fee for either one or both recitals is due on November 1, 2025. $55.00 for one recital or $85.00 for both recitals. The recitals will then have free admission. The rehearsals and recitals will be held in lieu of the regularly scheduled classes. Non-performance classes do a presentation on the last day of regular class and do not perform in the recital so no fee is collected.
Costumes
**Recital is Mandatory for all performing classes.**
No costume deposits are necessary for ballet classes and costumes will be provided. We will be collecting a non-refundable $25.00 cleaning/processing fee per ballet class on November 1, 2025 (max 2 per dancer). All Ballet dancers will need a nude leotard for recital. ALL Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary and Hip-hop classes, a costume deposit of $50.00 per class is due on November 1, 2025 with the remainder to be paid when the costume is ordered. The average price of a costume is $100.00 plus tax for recital dances. Non-performing classes do not need costumes and do no participate in recitals.
